In 1993, the Branch Davidians of Waco, TX, who were led by David Koresh, were massacred by the localĀ law enforcement. When the Bureau Of Alcohol, Tobacco, And Firearms came with a search warrant, a shootout erupted which resulted in a siege and ultimately in the burning of the group's ranch. Over 75 people died in the fire, including Koresh. The event became a defining moment of the 90s.
