Verbal Assault were a hardcore band from Providence, RI who started in 1983.Ā They played a melodic and thoughtful kind of hardcore similar in theory and kind of in sound to bands like 7 Seconds, who would actually release their 1986 EPĀ Learn. The bandĀ released aĀ steady slew of EPs during the late 80s with one LP,Ā Trial, mixed in, and were constantly touring. They broke up in 1991, but as of 2021 have reunited and been sporadically touring again. This original Verbal Assault shirt, with a small tear on the backĀ collar and discoloration in the pit areas, features one of the band's oldest logos, as seen in their 1985Ā Masses tapeĀ insert.Ā
