Vintage HIM "Love Metal" Promotional T-Shirt
HIM were a gothic rock band from Helsinki, Finland. Founded in 1991, the band didn't really get going until 1995Ā after a short break. Upon coming back, they were quickly signed to BMG and began releasing chart-topping albums. For the next two decades, they released eight albums in total despite constant lineup changes and world tours. Along the way, Bam Margera's fandom and association helped HIM break through to an alternative American audience as well. They broke up in 2017. In 2003, they releasedĀ Love Metal, their fourth album. It went to #1 in Finland and Germany and charted in UK and France also. After the release, HIM came to the States for the first time for a sold out tour. This original HIM shirt, in excellent condition, is from the 2003 release ofĀ Love Metal.Ā
