Vintage Death Side "The Will Never Die" T-Shirt
Death Side are a hardcore band from Tokyo, Japan. They were founded in theĀ 1987 and quickly became one of the most important and unique bands out of the entire scene. Guitarist Chelsea's playing was equal parts virtuosic and chaotic and singer Ishiya's vocals were brutal and instantly memorable. Together with Testu-Arrey they helped found the Burning Spirits tour which would become more of a scene, a group of bands that would continually redefine Japanese hardcore. During their tenure, Death Side released two LPs, three 7"s, and a split with Chaos UK. They broke up in 1994 and members went on to form Forward and Paintbox. Sadly Chelsea passed away in 2007. They have reunited sporadically since 2015. This originalĀ Death Side shirt, in excellent condition, features a reference to their 1994 song "The WillĀ Never Die."
